For Griffin Gaming Partners' annual dinner and party at the Gaming Development Conference, the design team creates a comprehensive suite of event materials that integrates the company’s branding with a celebratory and sophisticated theme. The project encompasses everything from name tags, menus, and tent cards to printed and digital invitations, banners, posters, step and repeats, signage, and window decals. Each element is carefully crafted to enhance the event's identity, ensuring a cohesive and memorable experience for all attendees.This has been my third year working on this material.
I co-created the branding for Blue Calf, an exciting venture that remains a passion project. My role involved ideating and refining multiple logo designs and branding elements, aligning each iteration with the vision of the project. Additionally, I contributed to the marketing strategy, helping to lay a solid foundation for a project we hope to see successfully launched in the future.
As part of Maine Public’s "Building For the Future" campaign, I designed a range of materials including booklets, fundraising pieces, and invitations to highlight the vision for their new headquarters and fundraising opportunities at the historic Portland Public Market building.
Crafting a unique, visually compelling label for Snack TBH's vegan, sustainable chocolate hazelnut spread was an engaging challenge. This limited edition packaging, designed to stand out while fitting in with Snack TBH’s sharp brand identity, showcased my ability to deliver clean, effective design solutions that align with a brand’s vision.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I’m not a photographer. But I love capturing the world around me and frequently have added photography into my responsibilities.

Capturing California landscapes and native plants, shooting supplemental photos for my journalism, planning team headshots and event photography, and taking my camera(s) with me on my travels has allowed me another opportunity to express myself and share how I see the world.
Before his life as a designer, Jordan Payne worked as a digital marketing and social media specialist (which in the nonprofit world is code for "does everything") for earth-conscious startups and nonprofits, meaning he knows how to set you up from the ground up —and do it the right way.
